Mitch Nielsen
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mitch has been with Indigo Group for over 20 years and oversees all facets of the business including project sourcing, capital raising, development management and marketing. Under Mitch’s leadership Indigo Group has delivered $2 billion worth of projects.
Mitch is a past state president of the Property Council of Australia. His career spans both private and public assets. Mitch’s qualifications include engineering, finance and project management. He currently sits on the Redlands City Council Investment Board and advises QIC regarding the lease out of their flagship $1.5 Billion Collins St, Melbourne CBD commercial hotel and retail development.
Prior to joining Indigo, Mitch worked for some of Australia’s leading construction and development companies. He has extensive experience in managing contentious and difficult property developments, having successfully navigated developments through a wide range of challenges.
His drive and commitment ensures a project’s potential is realised.

Laurie Truce
FOUNDER, NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Laurie has forty years of experience in the property development industry, working in all asset classes. He has played a significant role in all of Indigo’s developments from design development through feasibility analysis to implementation.
Laurie is a fellow of The Royal Australian Institute of Architects and holds the rare combination of qualifications in both architecture and civil/structural engineering. He has also completed formal studies in business, company directorship and leadership at Oxford University.
In 2006 he was recognized for his work in the property industry and the community with the Queensland University of Technology Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Alumni Achievements.
Laurie’s diverse management and business skills coupled with his natural innovation and creativity has provided Indigo with the foundations for success.

Jeff Evans
DIRECTOR
Before joining the Indigo team, Jeff was one of Australia’s leading town planners. His focus has been on complex inner-city redevelopment and he has played a key role in many of Brisbane’s most high profile urban renewal projects.
Jeff has also been developing and investing in property for over 25 years. He holds a degree in Applied Science (Surveying) and a Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning, both from QUT. He is a Member of the Planning Institute of Australia and a director of ASA Properties Holding LLC, a joint-venture partner in the billion-dollar Veramendi master planned Community Development located near Austin, Texas.
Jeff is responsible for project sourcing, approvals and development management at Indigo. He brings valuable international experience from all property sectors to a project, be it retail, commercial, or a planned community.

Michael Truce
DIRECTOR
Michael is responsible for project sourcing, project structuring, development management and marketing. His work involves projects across various asset classes.
Prior to joining the Indigo Group he practiced as a lawyer in the property, commercial and energy & resources fields.
Michael has lead:
• An ASX top 50 infrastructure company’s QLD and national property law and planning advocacy initiatives;
• Successful advocacy initiatives effecting change to legislation; and
• Multi-disciplinary due diligence teams assessing ASX takeover proposals involving multi-billion dollar
corporate group joint ventures and construction contracts over multiple national jurisdictions.
Michael’s time is predominantly spent assessing and delivering high quality development opportunities. He works with the Indigo team and a wide range of expert advisors, to ensure opportunities are feasible, market ready and suitably de-risked.

Graeme French
SENIOR PROJECT & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Graeme has professional engineering experience in local government and mining and over 30 years’ experience in the property development industry. Before joining Indigo, he worked in project management roles for several large development companies including Hooker Projects and Leighton Properties.
He has a civil engineering degree from University of Queensland and an MBA from the University of Southern Queensland.
Graeme has been part of the Indigo team since 2000, working in both project and development management roles and has managed a wide range of projects including retail, medium-rise residential, residential & industrial subdivisions and master-planned communities.
Graeme is responsible for preparing Indigo’s feasibility analyses of projects and working with financiers on initial project funding and progressive drawdowns. He is also responsible for ongoing contract administration, monitoring progress to ensure compliance with critical milestones and preparing cost & progress reports for project investors.

Carl Nielsen
LAND ACQUISITIONS MANAGER
Carl is responsible for site selection and acquisition across all markets whilst building strong relationships throughout Indigo’s network.
Carl’s keen interest in property began when he was a young boy. His self-starting background, down to earth attitude and innate ability to easily connect with people allows him to understand any landowner’s needs and deliver straight, honest feedback.
Using the strength and depth of Indigo’s network, Carl’s number one priority is to help each individual landowner find the best solution for their unique situation. Carl prides himself on delivering what he promises.
