Indigo Technologies  is currently marketing and promoting a world leading environmental technology for air pollution control, targeting the energy and processing industries.  In 2003 the Indigo Technologies LLC office was established in the United States and Indigo is currently pursuing a global expansion. The “Indigo Agglomerator”, is an easily retrofitted device which agglomerates fine particles created by fossil fuel (coal/wood) burning furnaces prevalent in the energy and cement industries to allow their extraction by electro-static precipitation or other traditional methods.  The “Indigo Agglomerator” has been installed in coal fired power stations in Australia and USA achieving performance improvement as great as a 90% reduction in opacity creating a clear stack and eliminating the emission plume.

The fine particles targeted by the “Indigo Agglomerator” are the most dangerous to the environment containing the majority of the heavy metals and toxins (chromium, arsenic, etc.).  Fine particles are easily carried by air currents, sometimes travelling great distances and are the most respirable, resulting in a major health risk.  In addition to the health issues these fine particles also contribute to the global greenhouse problem.

This unique Australian technology, which is covered by a number of  international patents with other patents pending, has generated considerable interest throughout the world due to the increasing demand for energy, greater environmental awareness and pollution control legislation.
